TERM 3 - Registrations NOW OPEN!
⚽ Blind Sports WA’s Let’s Get Visible after-school program is set to kick off Term 3 with a sporty twist! This term, we’re diving into all things AFL – with our specially designed audible Sherrin football, we’ll be building balance, strength, and coordination in a fun, inclusive environment.
Alongside footy skills, we’re mixing in some Goalball-inspired drills – a Paralympic favourite that brings teamwork, listening, and movement together in exciting new ways.
Open to blind and vision-impaired kids aged 5–15, this program runs weekly across three Perth centres. It’s all about confidence, connection, and fun – no experience needed, just a willingness to have a go!
With three locations across Perth, expert coaching, and an inclusive, fun environment, this program helps kids build confidence, develop motor skills and stay active.
📅 8-week program | Ages 5–15
💰 Just $40 for the term, thanks to the generous support of Telethon 7
📍 Locations: Mandurah, Cockburn, and Joondalup

National Volunteer Week 2025 – Celebrating the People Who Make It All Happen
Blind Sports WA was proud to celebrate National Volunteer Week with a special morning at Cambridge Bowling Club, alongside Vision Australia Radio, Bowls WA, Vision Impaired & Blind Bowlers WA (VIBBWA) and Australian Blind Bowlers Association (ABBA)
Thanks to support from Volunteering WA and Lotterywest, the event brought together volunteers from across the blind and low vision community – recognising the vital role they play in making inclusive sport possible.
At Blind Sports WA, our volunteers are the heartbeat of everything we do. Whether it’s guiding a player, helping set up for an event, or just being there for a chat – their impact is huge.
