BSWA Meeting Minutes and Agenda 2021/2022 AGM

Update from the Chair. See attached report. Moved Brad Brider, seconded Kylie Forth.
Treasurers report. See attached financial Report 2021/2022. The current account shows $42499.00. Moved Raquelle Hannen-Williams seconded Erika Webb.
Election of Secretary, Treasurer and 2/two General Committee Members.
As there were no other candidates for the Secretarial position, Ryan Honschooten was duly appointed as Secretary.
It was noted that there is a requirement to appoint a Treasurer and two General Committee Members.
Update from development Officer Raquelle.
January Raquelle Set up an Instagram Account which has been attracting good comments and interaction. Regarding the BSWA Facebook page, Raquelle is adding more posts and gaining more followers with 12000.06 percent better reach in the last month, 6000 people, and 238 people liking and following the page. Raquelle has been sharing the posts on many other social media groups. Raquelle was contacted by the City of Melville regarding the inclusion of an article in the Cities Newsletter. Raquelle created a QR code for the BSWA social media and email address, improved the BSWA Logo, contacted Sally Grandy at VisAbility re an article around the appointment of Raquelle as Sports development Officer. Raquelle has investigated ideas to create a website, created a BSWA One Drive account and is setting up a filing system.
In February Raquelle would like to register a BSWA Domain name, www.blindsportswa.com.au. ben suggested a 5-year lease, Raquelle to investigate a Domain host. Raquelle to develop a website with WordPress. Set up a WWC register.
General business.
Hayden from All Abilities Football and Ben met re AFL Blind. It is proposed that AFL Blind will be held at the ARC in Cockburn, the Purple Foundation to supply uniforms. Two come and try sessions have been organised for Saturday 19 and 26 February. ARC and the Purple Foundation to approach the West Coast Eagles to seek support.
Ryan is attending the first Blind tennis session in Mandurah.
Raquelle to look at leasing or renting a van for 12 months.
Raquelle has been investigating a Health Ways Grant.
Raquelle is attending a Grant writing workshop.
Need to introduce Raquelle to Matt Clayton CEO of BSA
Raquelle to work on a plan to have a round table discussion with the sports clubs.
